Harken 29mm Zircon Block
The Harken Zircon blocks are the most efficient blocks on the market and this helps trimmers match sail shapes to new conditions immediately. The Zircon performance comes from industrial ceramic ball bearings that are mounted in a caged race. The cages keep the bearings separated so they don’t bunch, touch, and stop each other resulting in the most efficient small boat block Harken has ever made.
The 29mm Zircon efficiency is great for use on the Laser Outhaul to reduce friction in the system when letting you sail out. Use with take-up systems where crucial seconds are lost with traditional plastic and stainless steel ball-bearing blocks will snag.
