:: Very old lattice oriented panel design motif with interior germinating geometric blossom wrapped by an extremely colorful and intricate main border of floral arabesques. Most likely a mid 1800's weaving closer to 1860 or perhaps earlier. Colors and shades include: Ivory, platinum, dusty gold, madder root red, aubergine, sapphire blue, beige, sand, dusty rose, oxidized copper green, jade green, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. A few areas of repair in varying degrees of expertise. One end measures 3'10" whereas the opposing measures 4'. This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Caucasian rug runner made in the Caucasus region circa 1870's vintage.
